Francisco Tschen, P.E., Esq. brings a rare combination of legal acumen and engineering precision to his role as Director of Legal Strategy at A+ Law. A licensed Professional Engineer and accomplished attorney, Francisco provides high-level advisement across intellectual property protection, regulatory interpretation, and complex litigation strategy.

He earned his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Florida International University College of Law, where he also now serves as an Adjunct Professor. His academic foundation includes a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering, as well as dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from Texas A&M University. This breadth of expertise informs his rigorous and analytical approach to both legal analysis and technical subject matter.

Francisco previously spent over a decade at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, where he served as a Patent Examiner and Technical Trainer. His deep understanding of IP law and scientific principles continues to support high-stakes litigation and patent strategy. His professional background also includes roles in process engineering, regulatory compliance, and public sector consulting—giving him a multidisciplinary edge in tackling legal challenges that bridge science, commerce, and innovation.
