Uygar “Ugi” Altan has the embodiment of A+ commitment—from academic distinction to mechanical mastery to client advocacy.

Before beginning his legal career, Ugi completed a demanding dual-degree program at Florida Atlantic University, earning two Bachelor of Science degrees: one in Business Economics with a minor in Accounting, and another in General Marketing with a minor in Business Law. His appetite for intellectual challenge led him to begin a master’s degree in Economics, deepening his understanding of strategic decision-making. He later expanded his technical skills by completing coursework geared toward engineering licensure, sharpening the analytical mindset that now fuels his legal strategies.

Born and raised in West Palm Beach, Ugi launched his legal studies at Florida A&M University College of Law in Orlando, where he ranked at the top of his class. He then transferred to Florida International University College of Law in Miami, graduating among the top 100 students in his program—an achievement that reflects the discipline and drive at the heart of A+ Law.

Ugi’s foundation in law is backed by nearly two decades of hands-on entrepreneurship. Since 2007, he has operated a licensed automobile dealership and holds active General Contractor and Roofing Contractor licenses. With over 20 years of engineering-related experience, his fluency across industries empowers him to develop real-world solutions for clients in matters ranging from consumer rights and construction disputes to real estate law and contracts litigation.

Rooted in the cultural values of hospitality, integrity, and dedication from his Mediterranean heritage in western Türkiye, Ugi approaches each case with personal care and professional excellence. With more than five decades of experience, Bruce W. Parrish, Jr. exemplifies the wisdom, dedication, and heart that define A+ legal service. Admitted to the practice of law in 1970 and to the United States Supreme Court in 1997, Mr. Parrish has built a legacy rooted in advocacy, integrity, and a lifelong commitment to his clients’ well-being.

Bruce earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Berry College in Georgia and his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida. A proud member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, he has dedicated his career to serving across a wide range of practice areas—including family law, criminal defense, real estate, bankruptcy, foreclosure, landlord-tenant disputes, general litigation, and estate planning.

Throughout his career, Bruce has remained active in the legal community and public service, including membership in Rotary International and several prestigious legal organizations. Known for treating his clients like family, Bruce brings not only deep legal knowledge but a grounded, empathetic approach to every matter he touches.

Ediberto Román, Esq. is a nationally acclaimed legal scholar, prolific author, and award-winning educator whose career spans over three decades of practice, teaching, and public service. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Lehman College, graduating magna cum laude, and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1988.

Before entering academia, Mr. Román practiced securities and antitrust litigation at several prominent Wall Street law firms. He later joined St. Thomas University School of Law as a professor, and in 2002 became a founding faculty member of Florida International University College of Law, where he also served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.

Mr. Román’s teaching portfolio includes over a dozen subjects—from constitutional law and civil rights to immigration, contracts, torts, and remedies. His scholarship has appeared in leading law journals at Harvard, Yale, UC-Berkeley, Georgetown, and many others, and he has authored several critically acclaimed books on citizenship, immigration, and constitutional law. He currently serves as series editor for NYU Press’s Citizenship and Migration in the Americas series, curating works from top legal scholars across the country.

A sought-after speaker and public intellectual, Mr. Román’s commentary has been featured in The New York Times, Politico, Bloomberg, Newsweek, and on networks including Univision, Telemundo, and C-SPAN. He is a member of the American Law Institute and a fellow of the American Bar Foundation.

Francisco Tschen, P.E., Esq. brings a rare combination of legal acumen and engineering precision to his role as Director of Legal Strategy at A+ Law. A licensed Professional Engineer and accomplished attorney, Francisco provides high-level advisement across intellectual property protection, regulatory interpretation, and complex litigation strategy.

He earned his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Florida International University College of Law, where he also now serves as an Adjunct Professor. His academic foundation includes a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering, as well as dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from Texas A&M University. This breadth of expertise informs his rigorous and analytical approach to both legal analysis and technical subject matter.

Francisco previously spent over a decade at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, where he served as a Patent Examiner and Technical Trainer. His deep understanding of IP law and scientific principles continues to support high-stakes litigation and patent strategy. His professional background also includes roles in process engineering, regulatory compliance, and public sector consulting—giving him a multidisciplinary edge in tackling legal challenges that bridge science, commerce, and innovation.
