Valentin Rodriguez, Jr., Esq. is a Board Certified Criminal Trial Specialist recognized by The Florida Bar, admitted to practice in Florida state courts and in multiple federal jurisdictions, including the U.S. Supreme Court, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and all three federal district courts in Florida. A native of West Palm Beach, he earned his A.B. in Government, cum laude, from Harvard University in 1991 and his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 1994. Since his admission to the Florida Bar in 1995, Mr. Rodriguez, Esq. has built a distinguished career representing clients in high-stakes criminal and civil matters across state and federal courts, including numerous jury trials and appellate proceedings. His practice spans criminal defense, civil litigation, civil rights, and employment and labor law.

In addition to his legal accomplishments, Mr. Rodriguez, Esq. has dedicated nearly two decades to public service in the Town of Lake Clarke Shores. He served on the Town Council for 17 years, including four terms as Mayor, five terms as Vice Mayor, and four terms as President Pro Tem. As Mayor, he championed innovative community initiatives such as founding the Lake Clarke Shores Community Redevelopment Agency, launching “Children’s Movie Night” and the annual Triples Tennis Tournament, establishing the Citizens on Patrol program, and leading reforms to the town’s golf cart regulations. He also provided legal training to the local police department and represented the town at the Palm Beach County League of Cities and the county’s Criminal Justice Commission.

A resident of Lake Clarke Shores since 1997, Mr. Rodriguez, Esq. remains actively engaged in local life, volunteering at annual BBQs, community events, waterway cleanups, and holiday parades—often greeting residents from his golf cart and handing out candy to children.
